Introduction
As part of the Community Development Department, the Recreation Division is responsible for the management, administration, operation, maintenance, fiscal accountability, planning and customer service for the delivery of community recreation facilities, and programming for leisure, sport and recreation services within New Glasgow including 3 community centres, outdoor athletic fields, playgrounds, seniors centre and park development.

TAKE THE ROOF OF WINTER - Recreation Nova Scotia
Munch and Move Walking Club is recruiting feet! We meet Wednesday mornings, 9am at the Aberdeen Sobeys Community Room in New Glasgow. Join us for a pleasant walk and conversation on some of the prettiest trails in New Glasgow. No experience necessary, all ages and abilities are welcome, walk at your own pace. Led by Sobeys Dietitian, we finish with a healthy snack. No registration fee! Inquire at 755-3645.
