Pictou County Bike Week
Join us for a bright bike ride in New Glasgow on Wednesday, February 15! We will be meeting at Rotary Park on Clyde Street at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm roll out.
Folks are encouraged to light up your cycle and yourself as much as possible! Bike lights, headlamps, battery-powered twinkle lights – the sky’s the limit for how bright you can be! We will be giving out a prize for the brightest and best decorated bike. We have a limited number of lights available for people to borrow. Come at 5:30pm sharp to borrow our lights and decorate your bike! Nova Scotia law requires bikes to have a front white light and a rear red light or rear red reflector. Pleas ensure your bike meets these requirements. We will have limited front white lights available to borrow.
The route has been designed with people of all ages and skill levels in mind. We will cycle at a slow pace and have support from the NGRP to cross George Street. Check out the route map at the following link: www.shorturl.at/eFHU2
The ride will end at Rotary Park for an after party with fire pits, s’mores and warm beverages.
This group ride will expose riders to
