Chief's Message
On behalf of the New Glasgow Regional Police, I am honoured to serve as your Chief of Police and to continue working alongside the residents of New Glasgow and Trenton. Having been a member of this organization since 2007, I have seen firsthand the strength, resilience, and sense of community that make our towns so special.
Policing is more than just enforcing laws, it’s about building relationships, fostering trust, and working together to create a safer and healthier community for everyone. Our team is committed to a community-based approach to policing, where collaboration and communication with residents, businesses, and local organizations are at the heart of everything we do.
We recognize that public safety and community wellness go hand in hand. A strong, connected, and engaged community is key to preventing crime, supporting those in need, and ensuring that everyone feels safe and valued. That’s why we rely on you, our community, to help us do our job effectively. Whether through partnerships, reporting concerns, or simply looking out for one another, your involvement is essential in making our towns better places to live, work, and raise families.
Our communities are rich in diversity, and we recognize that this diversity makes us stronger. We are committed to understanding, respecting, and appreciating the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and contributions of all residents. By embracing inclusiveness and working together, we can foster a community where everyone feels heard, supported, and safe.
As we move forward together, I encourage open dialogue and engagement with our police service. Your voice matters, and we are here to listen, support, and work with you to address challenges and build on our shared successes.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. I look forward to strengthening our partnerships and ensuring that New Glasgow and Trenton remain safe, welcoming, and vibrant communities for all.
