“Hybrid SUV RFQ – October 2024”
The Town of New Glasgow (herein referred to as ‘the Town’) is requesting competitive pricing for
the purchase of a new current year or later Mid-Sized SUV with specifications and requirements
listed below for use within the Town’s Regional Police Agency.
Vehicle Requirements:
• 2024 or later Mid-Sized Sport Utility Vehicle
• Hybrid Automatic Transmission
• AWD or 4WD
• Regenerative Braking
• Exterior Colour: to be determined
• Powered Driver’s Seat
• All Weather Floor Mats (front, 2nd row and cargo)
• Interior Seat Colour – Darkest Possible
• Apple Car Play with Sync 3 or Later
• Bluetooth Hands-Free for Cellular Telephone
• Rear back up cameras & sensors
• Dark Privacy Glass (from “B” pillar rearward)
RFQ submissions must be accompanied by manufacturer’s literature describing in detail, the vehicle
and requirements being quoted.
RFQ submissions must identify the estimated delivery time from the date of order.
RFQ submissions must clearly identify all related manufacturer’s standard warranty, on overall
vehicle and individual components and or systems where applicable. Extended warranty on
parts/labour can be included in the submissions as an add on item.
Other Requirements:
• Quotes may include consumer and or fleet vehicle options
• Dealers to include exterior colour choices and any value-added options
• Detail the vehicle selling price along with optional 5-year municipal financing including any
applicable fleet and or government concessions.
• Included delivery freight or duty charges to New Glasgow, Nova Scotia
• Any legislated environmental fees and sales tax within the Province of Nova Scotia
• Quoted in Canadian dollars
The Town of New Glasgow reserves the right to accept or reject any quotes. The Town further
reserves the right to wave any formality, informality or technicality associated with this RFQ and
to accept any quote deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of New Glasgow.
