New Glasgow, August 24, 2025: The Town of New Glasgow, in partnership with Coastal Nova Scotia and local business partners, is pleased to present the 150 Seat Dinner: A Toast to 150 Years, a one-of-a-kind outdoor dining celebration in honour of the Town’s 150th anniversary.

Set on Provost Street in the heart of downtown New Glasgow, this elegant open-air event will showcase the very best in local food, drink, and music. Guests will enjoy pre-dinner drinks at 5:30 p.m., followed by a gourmet dinner at 6:30 p.m., prepared by an outstanding lineup of culinary partners:

The evening will also feature unforgettable entertainment by Shaun & Ross, Doris Mason, and The Alcorn Project, bringing soulful vocals, Celtic and jazz influences, and a fun, funky finale to the celebration.

New Glasgow Mayor Nancy Dicks expressed her excitement and appreciation for the event, stating:
