The public is invited to attend a memorial ceremony in honour of Captain Brenden MacDonald on Wednesday, April 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Carmichael Park.
Captain MacDonald, who was raised in New Glasgow and served with the Canadian Armed Forces, lost his life in the Cyclone helicopter crash in the Ionian Sea on April 29, 2020. The ceremony will include a flypast by a CH-148 Cyclone Helicopter at approximately 11:00 a.m.
