EAST RIVER RD. (NORTH NOVIE DR. – WASHINGTON ST.)

VICTORIA ST. (EAST RIVER RD. – STEWART ST.)

WESTVILLE RD. (STELLARTON RD. – WESTERN AVE)

STELLARTON RD. (MILITARY LANE – BLAIR ST.)

 The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise motorists that Road Preparation and Paving will be taking place between Monday, July 13, 2026 – Friday, July 17, 2026, from 7:00am – 7:00pm at the following locations:

  1. East River Road starting at North Novie Dr. (East River Plaza) to Washington Street
  2. Victoria Street starting at East River Road to Stewart Street
  3. Westville Road starting at Stellarton Rd. (Dairy Queen) to Western Ave.
  4. Stellarton Road starting at Military Lane to Blair Street

Traffic Control will be in place and lane restrictions. These closures are needed to complete road paving.

Construction is weather dependent and updates to the construction completion will be posted on the Town’s website.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes whenever possible, detours will be in place.
