The Town of New Glasgow is pleased to host one of four community art studios for Nova Scotia’s College of Art and Design (NSCAD) residency program. Residents of the program get the opportunity to use their talents to engage and serve their communities while building on their experience and portfolio.
Facilities include:

  • Bartlett kiln
  • Studio space, with natural lighting, for three artists
  • Ample storage
  • Access to library equipment
  • Downtown location

Pictou County has produced more outstanding athletes per capita than any other area of Nova Scotia! Visit the Pictou County Sport Heritage Hall of Fame to view over 4000 artifacts, scrapbooks, video library and trophies.

Located at 340 East River Road in the heart of Downtown New Glasgow, the Pictou County Sport Heritage Hall of Fame is open year-round 10 am - 3 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays (or by appointment).
