TOWN OF NEW GLASGOW

Watermain Work on: Acadia St., Brookside Ave., Shelburne St., Cottage St., Fraser St. High St., and surrounding areas

The Town of New Glasgow Water Utility wishes to advise residents on Acadia St., Brookside Ave., Shelburne St., High St., Branch St., Fraser St., and surrounding areas that a Watermain Repair is scheduled to occur between 8:00am – 5:00pm on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The repair work may impact water service for a short duration causing low water pressure and a possible water outage. If you experience any of these issues we encourage you to contact the Engineering Office at (902)755-8351 to report issues and get an estimated restoration time.

In addition customers may experience low pressure and dirty water for a short period following the work and should flush their system thoroughly to remove any residual dirt.

Traffic control will be in place on the individual streets or intersections while working in the area. This should only impact one street at a time for a short duration. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible. Please drive safely through this worksite and be aware of pedestrians, workers, and work vehicles
