Human Resources & Corporate Communications

The Human Resources and Corporate Communications Department supports both the Town's workforce and its connection with the community.
 
Human Resources is responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, labour law compliance, and organizational development. Our goal is to support employees while fostering a positive, productive, and engaged workplace culture.
 
Corporate Communications provides timely and accurate information to residents through coverage of Town events, Council meetings, initiatives, and community updates. We are committed to keeping citizens informed and engaged, and we are happy to receive requests to attend Town of New Glasgow events and assist with sharing important information with the community.
